Camera Backup is designed as a personal iOS application for backing up DJI Fly originals to Google Photos. We do not collect personal user profiles, host your media, or build a Boive cloud library around your footage.

Data stored on your iPhone
Camera Backup stores app settings, transfer state, and local verification data on your iPhone. Your video files remain in their original locations on device until you choose to share or upload them. Source media is never deleted or mutated automatically. Local data remains on your device unless you back up or sync your iPhone using services you choose.
Google Photos uploads
When you back up media, video bytes upload from your iPhone directly to Google Photos using Google’s resumable-upload API. Boive infrastructure is not used as a media relay or media store. Storage and retention of uploaded originals are governed by your Google account and Google’s policies.
Control-plane data
The optional web control plane may store account linkage, transfer checkpoints, and verification state needed to resume and confirm backups. This information is used only to operate the backup workflow. OAuth tokens and resumable-session URIs are treated as secrets and are redacted from application logs.
Subscriptions
When purchases or subscriptions are offered, they are processed by Apple. Camera Backup receives the subscription and transaction information needed to determine whether access is active. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Early builds may be distributed through TestFlight before public store pricing is available.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your personal information. Information used by the control plane is retained only as needed to provide and protect the backup workflow, comply with legal obligations, and resolve support or security issues.
