QuickPreview is designed as a local macOS application. We do not collect personal user profiles, upload your media, or build a cloud library around your videos and bookmarks.

Data stored on your Mac
QuickPreview stores app settings, bookmarks, clip state, protected-bookmark settings, and file references locally on your Mac. Your video files remain in their original locations and are not uploaded by QuickPreview. Local data remains on your device unless you back up or sync your Mac using services you choose.
Subscriptions
Purchases and subscription management are processed by Apple. QuickPreview receives the subscription and transaction information needed to determine whether access is active. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
Optional subscriber portal and QuickPreview PRO
The Mac App Store edition does not require an account for normal use. If you choose to link access for QuickPreview PRO, the subscriber portal processes your email address, subscription status, product identifier, transaction identifiers, and entitlement expiration information. This information is used only to link and validate subscriber access and provide the PRO download.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your personal information. Information used by the optional subscriber portal is retained only as needed to provide and protect the account-linking and entitlement service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve support or security issues.
